LinkUA brings together volunteers from across UK higher education who are committed to supporting Ukrainian academics and students. We focus on three things: practical connection, public visibility, and long-term collaboration.
Support scholars
Help Ukrainian academics whose careers have been disrupted by the war stay connected to international research and rebuild their professional pathways.
Amplify voices
Raise visibility for Ukrainian science, stories, and expertise in UK universities, funding bodies, and policy discussions.
Build bridges
Create structured, long-term programmes — mentoring, twinning, events, and listings — that turn goodwill into lasting collaboration.

We are a dedicated team based in the United Kingdom and other countries, united by a mission to support Ukrainian academics and students. Our work spans academic collaboration, mentoring, and cultural & research events.
We aim to support Ukrainian academics whose careers have been disrupted by the ongoing war by bridging the gap between Ukrainian and international communities, fostering long-term partnerships and advancing academic resilience.
